USABL HISTORY The U.S. Amateur Baseball League began as a Fall program for kids from the ages of 8-18. We now, after 17 years of competitive baseball, offer both Spring, Summer and Fall baseball for the younger more talented player. The U.S.A.B.L. has organized baseball programs, beginning in April for players 8, 9, 10, all playing on the 60-foot diamond. The 11's will have their choice of the 46/60 or the 50/70 fields. While the 12 year old players will play on the 50/70 diamond in the Spring & Summer, but will move to the 90 -foot diamond for the Fall season. In addition, the U.S.A.B.L. has leagues for players 13 – 18, playing on the 90-foot diamond. We now have more than 950 teams playing Spring, Summer and Fall Baseball, with more teams joining everyday. |
